      Someone we all know is getting ready to celebrate find #5000! Come and join us at a impromptu cookout and geo-event at one of his hang outs.
      The Lochation: Loch Cache's back yard.
      Time: 2:00-6:00 pm

      Time to celebrate: 2:00-6:00pm
      Where: 110 Pearl St, Woburn MA
      Why: To celebrate the caching career of Bigrock95
      What: Cookout, dogs and burgers supplied
      Please bring: Other food to share

      All are welcome to attend. Bring friends, fellow cachers and event strangers if you'd like. There will be special activities planned to celebrate the Big One's caching experiences and other surprises.

    • Details: Join fellow bushwhack-oriented cachers deep in the woods from 9-10 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2010 for a bog-side breakfast, tall-tale swap, geo-raffle, great camraderie, and huge fun! RAIN OR SHINE!

      Plan on at least 30-45 minutes to get there from your car, since the site is 0.8 miles from the nearest trailhead and the last 0.2 miles of that (or more) is bushwhacking. There will be a raffle at 9:45 AM---I’ll supply some swag but other donations are also welcome!

    • Wheelock Conservation Land Clean-Up Event

    • Details: I am organizing a Cache In – Trash Out Event (CITO) for the conservation land behind Ralph Wheelock School in Medfield. The event is scheduled for 9/26/2010 at 2pm. Bring the entire family, trash bags, a rake, and any other tool you may find helpful.

      Specifically, I want to target the area behind the gravel pit, on top of the hill, that is the location of frequent parties and the site of camp fires and BB gun practices. Unfortunately, the people engaged in these activities do not show much appreciation for the land, and at the end of this summer there is an extensive mess that is too much for one casual dog walker like myself to clean up. I am counting on the support of like-minded Medfielders and geocachers.

    • W.M.G. Paintball & Potluck Event

    • Details: This geocaching event will entail a day of paintball using GPS for some of the games (some of which will have geocaching related prizes), a trackable table, as well as a potluck lunch...with my grill available to cook and reheat.

      For this event to work I will need to have at least 10 attendees to be able to play some actual paintball. To play, the price is $40 per person which includes a NEW protective full face mask that is yours to keep as a souvenir (which usually retail for around $20), the field fee, 300 rounds, Co2, and the use of a high quality paintball gun (but you can save $10 by bringing your own mask) If you wish to come for just the trackable trading, good company, potluck, and to watch others play, you are welcome to at no cost...but wouldn't you rather play? (Or if you wish to see the action up close, but choose not to play, we can provide our own referees who would wear safety orange, be unarmed and untouchable)
